Vermilion Peak is a 10.8 kilometer lightly trafficked out and back trail located near East Kootenay G, Alberta, Canada that features a great forest setting and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking and nature trips and is best used from May until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Near on impossible to find the trail at the start of the ascent (stick to the middle left) and once you do it only makes things a little easier. This bad boy is steep, all the way to the top. Worth it once you get there though!
