Beautiful winter hike through old growth forest. Snow and flooding throughout trail but not too bad with winter boots (we wore Sorrels). You have to drive though an active mining site so don't forget to check in and out with the front gate.

Nice trail and fairly easy going compared to some of the tougher hikes in the area. A few patches of roots and rocks but very manageable even for me with a knee injury. The gravel road st the start and the end was also enjoyable as the sun beamed through the huge trees. We didn't have too many bugs like some of the earlier posts mentioned but there was a big hornets n'est in the ground at the 1.5km mark. We didn't get stung, but many other hikers mentioned they had.. We tried to create a warning on the path but it might not last long .

A moderate and dry trail, with some rocky bits and washed out trail. On a hot day not much breeze gets into the canyon so judge yourself accordingly and bring enough water. You can’t really get to the falls easily unless you want to scramble down a hill risking drowning or dismemberment. Not recommended. Stick to the trail and all will be well!

BUGS!!!! So many damn bugs. This would have been a decent hike of not for the insane amount of bugs. We hiked up to Tennant the first day and set up camp. Left for the summit early morning the next day and decided to escape to bug swarms and hike out after. The trail itself was terrible, the old machinery road was a bunch of loose rocks all the way up to Tennant lake. The terrain mixed with the elevation was extremely challenging. The trails up to the summit are extremely hard to follow and it appears the alltrails map is more for the winter season. Trails were also very overgrown in parts and it is clear there is little to no maintenance. With all that said Tennant lake was a great spot to camp (minus the relentless swarms of bugs) and the views from Mt Myra were gorgeous (even though there was still no escape from the bugs). Glad I did it but will never be returning.

Just about 3 hours to complete at a leisurely pace with a snack stop at the falls. Rocky and rooty areas, hiking boots recommended although we saw people wearing runners. Lovely forest setting. The falls at the end are pretty but not omg, enjoy the forest hike, not for the falls and you won't be disappointed.

good hike after a long drive to stretch the legs. Not too difficult, nice steady increase. The waterfall at the end is pretty but it's a shame you can't get near it. Lower Myra Falls is more spectacular to see.

Nice trail amongst old growth leading to the falls. Mild grade up to falls took our 9 year old daughter with little issue, not sure I'd rate this as intermediate.

This is not a moderate hike it is easily conquered by a 8 or 9 year old. Nice quick 45 minute each way or maybe less

Pass the mine site and park. Walk up the gravel road and it’s on the right. Path is relatively easy to do with limited obstacles. Gushing waterfall at end but not too much else to see along the way. Would be no problem for kids. Not suitable for prams as can be quite rocky and uneven in spots and some “steps” over roots, ducks under trees, and squeezing between rocks. Nice day out and not strenuous.
