Trudi's Trail, named after the well-known local named Trudi, is a good trek for climbing and then returning to the village. The trail head can be accessed midway along Sunset Trail (reached by the southern end of Sunset Drive, or next to the tennis courts on Mountain Drive). The first 15 minutes is climbing, the next 15 minutes is flatter walking along the summit, and then 15 minutes to descend. Alternatively, you can take the logging road (used to ascend to the Brinkert/Lions Hike) to return to the Village
