Go before 8am or after 6pm to avoid the crowds. We visited at 8:30pm (July). Had the falls to ourselves for a few minutes and it was incredible.

Impressive flow and spray of water from a cliff. Easy hike. We visited on a cloudy, rainy day; it is probably more stunning in the afternoon sunlight. Watch for tour buses and RVs on the switchbacks--we saw one backing up the road because they can't make the tight turns.

Beautiful. Lots of tourists. You oh can go pretty close to the falls but you ll get soaked so waterproof what you need. Good hiking shoes as it can be slippery

one word. GEM!.... this was a sight that I couldn't even believe. from the highway it's roughly an 8km drive to the falls. The drive itself is amazing. even a few switchbacks on the road itself. stunning views the whole time to the falls. once there, the sound is the first thing that grabs you. roaring like a beast. it's a small easy walk to the falls, accessible by anybody. once there. a thousand foot waterfall fed by glacial melt is out of this world. there is a fairly steep scramble/scree section for the more adventurous that can take you right to the base of the falls. literally, you can go to where it hits Rock. there is also another part with huge boulders and big rock that your can check out. it is massive and gives you a sense of movement while standing still. one of the most incredible things I've seen in my life. 10 min walk from the lot to get there makes it easy for everyone. amazing!

An easy walk capped by a fantastic waterfall. The meeting of the two waters is also worth stopping at on the way.

A nice leisurely stroll on paved paths to take in an amazing sight. Listen carefully as you approach the Falls - much more of a roar before you cross the bridge over the river.

Most definitely worth a stop if you're in the region! A short walk takes you very close to these very dramatic Falls.

Wow - was not expecting to see THAT waterfall - we climbed up real close as the spray was blowing the other way

Level path, beautiful falls!

Beautiful waterfall, easy trails, the Parks Canada chairs are the best view. Walk down the trail for multiple photograph opportunities or just to feel the mist from the falls! Worth a short stop or lunch break with a view!

The road to the trail was closed with no warning from the main road. It would have been a 10km walk to get to the trailhead. Disappointing. :(

The size of these falls are, in my opinion, a must see! You can also hike up quite a ways to the falls, climbing over good sized rocks.

Not really a hike. It's more of a short walk. A walk up the side of the falls is a must! It is magnificent! It could get really busy with all the tourists, so make sure you do this early in the day.

Huge Waterfall, impressive, easy walk from the parking lot. worth a stop forsure.

I wouldn't necessarily call this a hike. it's about a 10 minute walk from the parking lot. Amazing views of the falls and you can climb up the rocks next to the falls to get a closer look. Definetly worth the stop if you are in the area. If you want to hike continue on the trail past the campsite and you will continue to a variety of sights including Laughing Falls, Twin falls, etc.
