Fun, short hike to a beautiful waterfall. There are some very short fairly steep sections on the trail, but it’s pretty easy. Not heavily trafficked with people, very peaceful and surrounded by nature.

Took my 3 kids and dog for the walk and it was incredible... just long enough for my youngest who is 3 to conquer with a few snack breaks but no complaints!! With the park closed we had to park on the street but there were not issues, the falls are beautiful! Highly recommend!

Beautiful hike in mission off the reservoir trail It was supposed to rain today so the trail was pretty clear only saw three people. The waterfall was gorgeous. I was very disappointed in all the beer bottles, cans and garbage I saw people had left though :( I would definitely suggest this hike to friends

Wasn’t too busy in the early afternoon. Partial shade, very refreshing mist off the falls.

Beautiful waterfall and nice little hike, good for beginners or somebody starting out. I did this after I finished the Loop across the street (highly recommend) and will do again! Very relaxing and refreshing to stop at the waterfall for a little. Pretty busy at the moment, but you can parking along the road at various access points for the trail.

Part of the longer Hayward Lake Reservoir Trail - Nice undulating trail - there is a bunch of gain and loss of elevation on this one - be prepared to work a little but you will be rewarded with numerous views of the lake, enchanted forest and fern gulleys and a bonus Steelhead Falls offshoot. This trail will take you all the way down to floating bridge which has been reactivated due to seismic upgrades to the Ruskin Dam area (and Covid?) Great trail for running if you are into that sort of thing.

Quick, very short hike and pretty impressive falls. Although parts of the trail are steep, its fairly even surface and easy to walk on. Be careful around the falls as rocks are VERY slippery!

a bit muddy but a nice short easy hike

The trail is short and pleasant, took my 5y.old daughter and 2 dogs. The falls are beautiful and there is small place to sit and appreciate the view. The down curve is the super small parking lot and the absence of patrol. I saw a lot of unleashed big dogs and some MJ smokers

Great hike. We only did the small one to the falls. It’s short so if your short for time this one is great! There is definitely some steep section going there and heading out, so be prepared for that. Over definitely a great hike and would do it again!

July 12, 2019 Short, easy walk to the falls, about 10 mins each way. Took my dog and she loved it! Very maintained & manicured trail. Benches to sit and enjoy the views. Bugs were really bad!!

Fun, short hike to a beautiful waterfall. There are some very short fairly steep sections on the trail, but it’s pretty easy. Took me 10-15 minutes to get to the waterfall. Absolutely breathtaking waterfall. Some small flys and bugs, but they’re pretty harmless. Can’t wait to come back!

beautiful and easy!

Awesome trail but as a 68 year old, a little out of shape, I wouldn’t say it was any easy trail as stated here. I just took breaks and wished I had better grip on my shoes.

Fri Aug 10 2018

Easy after work-before dinner hike! The trail is really well maintained and suitable for all skill levels.
