NOTE: It has been reported this trail has temporary closures due to COVID-19. Please see the park's website for up to date information. This trail is well-maintained with many markers. Not as hard as the trail to Garibaldi Lake in terms of switchbacks and length, but there are a lot of staircases. The view is wonderful from the top! Extra caution required for wet conditions.

We did this in mid February. There are a lot of steps on this trail and a lot of elevation gain. On a grey day, it was still busy. The rocks get slippery, especially at the summit.

Great trail, well marked and a good workout too. The view is amazing and would recommend a clear day to enjoy it. I’ve done it in the rain... the rock does get slippery use caution. In the sunshine it makes it worth while. Super busy though, try to stay away during peak times. Especially when we should be practicing social distancing.

Only one star off because it was super busy, parking lot was full when we left around 1pm. Hard hike but worth it. Was difficult with our dog at the ladders/chain areas and had to carry her at those spots.

Super fun, a little bit difficult but completed by an inexperienced hiker. Hike took 3hours to complete with breaks and a long rest at the top.

Trail completed March 8. Barely any snow so no microspikes needed. Markers easy to see. Not too crowded.

Completed Peak 1 on March 6th. The trail was in amazing shape with next to little snow! It took five of us about 1:20 to Summit and this included a ton of breaks along the way. Always an amazing hike to go on! Your legs will burn :)

Difficult but well worth it. Entire hike is up rock steps or on stairs.

Late entry. Hiked last October. Kicked my butt getting to the peak, but well worth it!

I did this hike today, Dec 15th. The trail was clear of snow and ice. At the beginning it is steep with large steps. Also The rocks are slippery close to the top around the area with chain/ladder.

Hiked on Nov 30, the trail was dry, well maintained and heavily trafficked. It was a fun hike and a good workout, with some rather technical parts on the way as well as a bit of exposure on/near the top. Short and challenging, with some really rewarding views.
