The Sky Pilot ascent starts at the top of the Sea to Sky gondola. Follow the Sky Pilot Valley Trail until the end, then continue along the obvious (ribbon marked) over a creek and through the woods. After continuing up a rock slide valley, you will approach Stadium Glacier. Crampons and mountaineering axes are strongly recommended year-round, in addition to glacier travel skill (self-arrest technique especially, considering the steepness of the glacier). After climbing the glacier to the ridge above, proceed left towards Pink Slab (low class 5 climbing, rap rings are at the top if you need them but not strictly necessary). Follow the sparsely-marked route past pink slab, over a number of sub-peaks, around towers and up two chimneys (high class 4 scramble) to the summit.
