Great little hike (1 hour each way) to check out the tides. I would rate it more on the easy side than moderate. Worth it to go the extra length to Roland’s point. October 13th, 2019

great evening hike to see the XL Rapids rushing into the Sechelt Inlet, kayakers were incredible to watch on the waves.

Lovely walk through a rain forest to an impressive rapid, fairly long but not very difficult. The power of the tide is incredibly cool to see. Make sure you come at high tide

A beautiful hike through what appears to be a rainforest, moss hanging from trees, fern covered floor. This is a fairly easy hike to the first view point of the Skookumchuck Narrows, moderate hike to go further to the second viewpoint right next to the rapids. Check the tides to maximize your reward at the end of the hike, with kayakers, and sometimes seals, playing in the rapids. Approximately 45 - 55 minutes each way.

Great hike with the best part seeing the Rowland Point tidal flow and the kayakers tackling the white water fun!

Pretty and easy hike that’s mainly in the shade so you don’t get too warm. AllTrails ends the hike at the washrooms I think, but it’s worth it to go farther and go to the Roland view point. As everyone else says, check the tides in order to either see whirlpools, or the rapids. Both viewpoints are worth seeing, although the north one doesn’t have much of the rapids. The hike is very family friendly and busy, so if you’re looking for solitude, this isn’t the hike for you at all haha

Beautiful trail, well marked and maintained. Easy hike for a novice. Make sure to look up the tides for the best view point at the narrows. Washrooms at the start and end 40 minutes there. Cafe just down the rd to the right.
