We did this loop in the middle of August. We started at 5:45 am. The trail was overall good, but the lower parts on the west side had tall grass and shrubs to walk through. Definitely recommend wearing full water proof gear from the waist down. The east side of the trail was beautiful, and smelt like fresh pine the whole way. Lots of nice scenery and cool rocks. The east mountain side was our favourite. Overall took us 4.5 hours. There is also a nice cabin at the North intersections.
