Still had snow and ice on the lake in early June, but it is possible to get there. Parking area currently unmarked because of road construction. Spectacular.

This was our 1st hike of the 2 week Yoho National Park trip. The trailhead was right behind the lodge we were staying at, right next to Wapta Lake.

Very nice 1/2 day hike; Ascending Hike through wilderness. The trail wasn't that busy, passing other hikers every 30 minutes or so, but once arriving at the lake, you would have thought you were the only one there! Very nice place to relax and enjoy the views!
