This is the trail that starts at 'BaseCamp' of the Sea to Sky Gondola. This is Gondola's version of Sea to Sky. It is a young trail but well marked. Although this trail starts at the bottom of the gondola, it connects to 'The Chief' trail for the start portion of it before splitting off. Tougher than the Grind, especially if you come back down the trail. Some parts are a bit of a scramble and washed out with logs. Lots of steep parts and fun rope pulls to give you a good variety. You will get to a selection point near the top to decide if you want to take the longer 'easy' trail or shorter 'hard' trail. The hard trail is fairly steep and and may make you wish you picked the easier one. You can hike up and just pay for a 'Download' pass. You can also climb up and access other trails at the top including viewing trails and backcountry access trails. Dogs are NOT allowed on trail except the one leading to lodge from base camp.

Omg - a gruelling trail but so rewarding! As we read in one guide-book, the level of difficulty is NOT exaggerated. The views at the summit are incredible with panoramic views of Howe Sound and surrounding mountains. I highly recommend adding the panoramic loop to take in more views of Squamish and The Chief.

Great hike, same idea as grouse grind. $10 gets you down.

Very physically demanding but worth it in the end! Did it during winter so the snow made it difficult. Can catch the gondola back down for $10 after catching the sun set from the summit. Great views! Bear and cougar habitat so be prepared!
