This is a somewhat rough trail (rocky and some mud, but no ropes) to a beautiful west coast beach. Most people visit for the day, but there are also tent pads down near the Mackjack River for overnight stays. You can also reach the beach by canoeing the river. Many come here for the surfing too. Head off to the right where the trail hits the beach for a tunnel carved in the rock by years of sea action. There is also lots of rocky beach area to explore on that side. Head off to the left for the expansive sandy beach, the outhouse, and the camping area near the river. Wolves frequent the area at times, so keep dogs nearby or on a leash.
