Great snowshoe trail with lots of elevation changes, which can be tiring. 4 hour return trip. The trail is well marked even with low visibility. It’s a busy trail with lots of hikers and backcountry skiers. Can get crowded at the top of the first peak.

Great easy hike with unobstructed views close to Vancouver! - Snowshoes not required but would recommend microspikes instead for extra grip. Hiking shoes would work as well but some sections are icy so you may struggle - Bring your layers and thick gloves as it's cold at the top - Busy trail so I'd recommend arriving early to avoid the traffic

Busy weekend with some fresh snow though still quite icy on some parts, particularly higher and steeper slopes. Recommend spikes, snowshoes and poles. Saw a few people with only hiking shoes and they struggled not to slip and fall.

Well marked trail. Fresh snow made it pretty challenging. No views in the clouds but the snowy trees were awesome.

Great snowshoe today up to pump peak. Holiday “crowds” but it was also a Friday and 10+ cm of snow the night before. Dog friendly trail/ w/ mix of hikers, snowshoers and people skinning up. Hardly any visibility at the top- so couldn’t totally find the summit of pump peak as it was my first time up and the trail [snow] markers ended just shy of summit. Overall great snowy scenery and terrain with a fairly steep ascent just before the summit. Took just over an hour at a good pace to summit. Mostly hard pack trail until the ascent...Would recommend micro spikes, at the least to reach the summit of pump peak. I’ll be back on a clear day to reach Mt. Seymour!

Beautiful snowshoe. Great hike to get the winter hiking legs back in action. Lots of steep uphill but the views and magical Dr. Seuss snowy trees make it well worth it. Official trail poles are now up so easy to follow. Snowshoes recommended start this point.

Stunning hike! Fresh powder snow, we used spikes, no need for snow shoes. A few icy patches but not bad! Amazing views.

Very icy and slippery at the second part of the hike. Use of slip-on shoe spikes is highly recommended.

Great hike and awesome 360 degree views at the top. There were a few spots that had some ice, but it wasn't bad.

Very nice hike. Steeper in the end but view worth it. Did it with my 7yo.
