Good trail. Nice views and part of it is a stream so bring waterproof shoes

A pleasant loop, the lower portion is mostly through mixed, mossy forest. The upper portions take you right past the grassy viewpoints, parking lot, restaurant, Hokkaido totems, etc. The trail quality varies from rooty and muddy to paved path and everything in between.

I would say this is a moderate trail...definitely not easy. There are steep uphills, washed out parts and muddy terrain.

Super easy hike (no boots required!). Great way to spend a leisurely afternoon. At the end of it, you’ll be rewarded with a beautiful vista of the city skyline! If you’re looking for a bit of quiet and solitude, I recommend this trail. This trail is covered in canopy and would be great for trail runners too.

Lovely January walk with kids who liked the playground at the beginning and the end. Do the ‘nature walk’ path parallel to long straight Trans Canada trail section at the bottom of this trail map. It runs parallel, same distance, prettier and no bikes. Horizons restaurant is right there at the car too, just sayin’ ;) The whole route as shown on this map was open on Sunday Jan 27 when we went.

Part of the trail is closed so we had to backtrack off our original plan.

Went there tonight, it was a nice trail overall - we were on the Pandora part - but then we didn’t get to finish it as we saw a black bear. It was looking at us, came forward a couple steps so we turned around and went back from where we were coming from. I think it was a female, not sure if there were cubs around but didn’t risk it! Otherwise it was good, I’d probably go back and hopefully enjoy more views next time!
