Great walk although there was the alarm indicating risk of river flooding so we stayed away from the river bank

Super easy loop with a few viewpoints of the falls. Was told you can sometimes see the salmon swimming upstream! A lovely little walk.

A beautuful trail through the woods and along the Puntlege River. There were lots of views of the river and several places to see rapids and small waterfalls

Nature tripsGreat!

Great signage, fabulous trail, would rate this as easy, not moderate based on other moderates I’ve been on. I will be back over and over, so sad it took me this long to hike this...

Excellent trail for children, even wheelchair accessible on some of the mail trails from what I can tell. If you are looking for an easy and beautiful walk this would be it. A small amount of hill, but not much and the pathways are great.

Beautiful trail to the falls! It only takes about 5 minutes to the falls from the parking lot. Nymph falls was amazing! This park can definitely get pretty busy on warm days (even during the week), so I’d recommend going on a cloudy day during the week.

We had a great time with our dogs on this trail! It was easy to follow, although some parts I feel lacked a bit of signage. We attempted to hike out to the comox lake dam but turned around due to the weather. You could easily spend an entire day walking through the trail systems. Will definitely be coming back!

Hiking

There are so many trails here you can just keep going, we have hiked up to the dam and on another occasion ten miles up to the Forbidden Plateau from here. So it can be a one mile walk or a full on hike as you please. The trails are well maintained and all of them I would rate as easy, we bought elderly parents to the short Nymph Falls trail and they were fine. The falls themselves are beautiful and you can climb down onto the rocks to rest for a while- you do get a lot of sunbathers and people taking selfies for Instagram on hot days though. The trail is mostly in shade and the forest is beautiful. I would recommend exploring further upstream as the views are lovely. There are benches everywhere if you need them.

Actually did the hike to Comox Lake Dam. The hike is about a 10 km loop that is all along the river and then lake. Old growth forest is everywhere. The trail is mostly well groomed so most everyone can do it. Only drawback is there is a paved stretch.
