Went in the afternoon on a Sunday around 130pm and was able to find parking pretty well. Pay parking in effect $2 an hour. Conditions of the trail were muddy, wet, and snowy near the falls. Ice and snow falling from the tall trees that were melting off. Overall, east hike and beautiful.

Go early to avoid the crowds especially on the weekends! We started at the second parking lot from the main one around 8:30am and got to the falls in 2 hrs with no breaks. 4 hr round trip. Last 5km or so there was still icy snow patches, but manageable without micro spikes. Sun, April 11.

Snow that was sticking for the last ~3km. Would recommend waterproof shoes as trail was wet & muddy.

Great overall. The last few km are difficult, wear nice boots with ankle support. Be careful about slippery rocks and trees, can easily slip and fall if not careful. Take your time the last few km. There is free parking but space is limited and need to walk approx 1 km more.

Super muddy and slippery today but overall a nice hike and the waterfall at the end is great. Pay parking in effect.

Mostly flat with a few rocky sections on the back half. Pretty muddy and some snowy spots so need waterproof shoes. Went on a holiday so was fairly busy.

Well maintained trail. Snow and slush on the trail when we went yesterday but we were able to do it without spikes. Would recommend waterproof shoes.

HikingGreat!Icy

Great trail with dog-leash-optional. I would rate it easy to moderate, closer to easy. It’s not a difficult trail. Very well signed. Very busy on the lower portion. Parking was free but pay parking ($2/hour, I believe) will be in effect in a few days. Water fall was beautiful! Lots of snow & slush on the trail. Beautiful trail!

Two to six inches of slush and snow. Put on gaiters half way. Snow bombs from trees required rain gear through, despite sunshine. Very wet trail, boots required. Allow extra time for slow going.

It was a great hike. It started snowing while we were on route. SPECIAL NOTE: there is no cel coverage throughout the majority of the hike, just in case you were planning on letting family know how you are doing along the way.

HikingGreat!MuddyRocky

Done on March 13. Parking lots were filling up at 9am. The trail was dry enough going up the Headwaters trail, but coming back through Cedar Mills was getting muddy. Did not need microspikes. The trail is rocky and slippery in some sections, proper hiking footwear is recommended
