Great trail with some amazing views! lots of mud and steep hills but totally worth it!
A pretty level hike until you reach the falls. Very beautiful. Got mud past my ankles a few times so if you go in the winter I'd recommend gaitors if you have them (I don't and was just fine, but use them if you got them). if I didn't have the map downloaded I would have gotten lost many times.
Beautiful trail! I wish I was more prepared to go further but great nonetheless
great hike, very pretty. Fairy muddy and wet in some places so wear good boots
This is a beautiful hike! Today there was 2 wasp nest ready to ruin your day. Not off trail right on the trail. We also saw a couple that spotted a bear. I have done this trial multiple times but this time wasps and bears. Would avoid if you have a wasp allergy. Beautiful trail lovey waterfalls.
Waterfall after waterfall, pool after pool. Moderate hike with a few good muddy spots. Was there September 1st and ran into a few people that had been stung by wasps, their dogs had been stung and then I was stung. Watch out for those buggers, they’re throughout the whole trail.
Quite muddy at the end near the falls. It’s also just over 12km not 10. Suuuuper muggy today as well so it was nice to take a dip in the water. Definitely take the last rope up the really steep hill just before the parking lot near the falls side you’ll get the best view if you go up the rope and to the left.
Nile Creek Trail is a beautiful forested hike. It includes much natural debris along its paths. There are several muddy areas, numerous downed trees used for water crossings, rope bridges and much up and down. This trail may not be the best fit for the timid hiker or those with mobility or balance difficulties. That being said, it is a lush and stunning trail with five gorgeous waterfalls. It is definitely worth the challenges that it presents. Hiking boots and poles are recommended…as is plenty of water and a significant snack. Give yourself ample time to complete the full trail. You’ll want to linger!
