Enjoyed the hike, its a good climb and on the harder end of moderate. The lake is a pond, but its beautiful i posted some pics. Wanted to goto Dennett, but it looked pretty overgrown and it was warm today so we passed. Trail is well marked amd not busy. Wear hiking shoes as going down can be slippery in these dry conditions..

The lake was a let down, more of a pond. Awesome hike, several different terrains throughout. Bring plenty of water and snacks, the duration is long.

Just went here two days ago. Beautiful lake that is very swimmable in July and August. Lots of horse flies that kept you moving. Steep sections on the trail are frequent with lots of exposed roots and loose dirt. Trail could use some maintenance.

Good trail but steep and full of switchbacks. Good cardio workout in the woods. Late May and the lake is still frozen and socked in with snow.
