Great Park. a bit of a maze though. Plenty of turtles in the lake and a frisbee golf course too.

This is the largest park in Coquitlam, that you can spend many hours traversing the different trails, or do the perimeter in just one hour! There are many entry points around the park, all with free parking! Wide, accessible trails make this great for walking and biking. Dog friendly, and you'll find a lot of four legged walkers on these trails. The Coquitlam Animal Shelter is right next to the park on Mariner Avenue, and volunteer dog walkers are always out and about with the pups. This park offers a rich, diverse ecosystem. There is wildlife, even deer and the occasional bear at various times of the year, but I have never seen anything other than birds. Lots of birds! There are two small, beautiful lakes in the park with benches strategically placed for optimal viewing. A perfect spot to stop and enjoy a picnic lunch. This park is easily accessible by bus with at least three routes going straight past the park.

A bland trail. Not much to see unless you take some side trails. Good if you live in the area and do not have much time to travel. The trail is wide and the inclines are fairly gentle.

a lovely little place with lots of meandering trails that lead to and from a couple lakes (Mundy in the middle and Lost Lake in the East side). The trails are wide and well maintained for easy walking, running etc.

dog and kid friendly too - though do beware as, despite being right in the middle of Coquitlam, there are occasionally bears seen in the trails.

According to my walking experience on this trail exactly the same as maps showed here, it's only 2.7 mi with 180 ft height. 45 minutes can finish the trail!

Perimeter Trail is an easy stroll around the park, albeit you could hear the traffic noise intermittently. Family friendly.

A nice easy walk with some great scenery considering it is in the middle of suburbia!! I went on a Sunday and it was not to busy at all.
