Overall, fairly easy to find the location but there was no parking lot. I parked on the side of the road and just went for it. No signs anywhere that l could see, just hiked up until l saw the view.

Well we were stymied by a herd of cows. They were right at the road blocking the 4x4 path and would not be moved. Anyone know if there are certain times of year that we can expect cows NOT to be there?

Nice view from the lookout as far as SunPeaks. Trail up is actually a Rough road. Lots of road parking off Robbins Range road. I was there is June and the wild flowers were beautiful. Some people drive up in 4wd but it makes a nice 4.6 km return hike. Steep initially but quite rewarding at the top.

Steep walk up. View is worth it. Don’t go on a windy day.

If you drive up, the "hike" to The Pinnacle is more of a jaunt (but worth it for the view!). If you park on the road below, then your hike is up a 4x4 road for the most part. Either way, the hiking part is not the emphasis. It's The Pinnacle itself and the view. I recommend making the trek, but temper your expectation of the hike itself. Cheers
