Great hike and hard is accurate. Approaching the top consists of climbing through rock and small ledges and navigating a path. It’s a consistent uphill climb but well worth the satisfaction at the end!

Fantastic trail, both for cardio/athleticism and for technical hiking skill. Good year round, but take extra care when conditions are wet. You will experience rocky terrain, rooted terrain, and elevated terrain. Not an easy feat - you will be using your arms at times to hoist yourself up rocky terrain.

Great short hike. Great especially for cardio. Be careful when it’s wet, very slick.

Challenging climb with lots of scrambling. I prefer the loop because I don't love the scramble down

We went up the rocky scramble face of the mountain and tried to follow the loop back down. However, that trail was closed and we ended up taking a much longer route towards the parking lot by the road. On the way back to the car, we crossed under the highway and went up to the tracel. Great hike!
