Sooke Mountain Provincial Park

Mount Empress via Sooke Mountain Park Road is a 3.7 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Sooke, British Columbia, Canada that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking and is best used from May until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

You can also start at the Harrison Trail - parking at the first gate to Sooke Potholes. Going up the washout and crossing the Goose Trail. It is a 5 hr round trip and can be very wet in the rainy season. Most of the washouts are then creeks you'll be walking in - 4-5 times. Views are well above average - No leashes required for you pup. Not a Provincial park till the last 15 mins
