Solid trail. Beginning trail head area and the summit are very cool.

My fiance and myself absolutely loved this hike. Lots of sweat and effort at the start, but once you get further up it has even parts to match the steeper climbs. The signs say 8 hours, but it took 5.5 hours walking and we spent an hour at the top. 2/3 of the hike are under the trees, while the last third offers fleeting glimpses of the view. Great way to spend the day, the views reach as far as Vancouver.

Incredible hike, I'd highly recommend this to hiking enthusiasts! No car needed from Vancouver. If you get to downtown take the 257 Bus to Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal then get the Ferry to Langdale (around $15 return), from there walk to Wharf Road and you find a trail at the end of the road that takes you to the trailhead (this saves you walking on the highway).
