Easy to follow trail that's pretty steep (on the harder side of "moderate" IMO) for the first half, then mellows out. Lots of loose rock, so watch your step on the way down! Went on a cloudy day and missed the view by about 15 mins. The trail itself is mainly switchbacks through a very green forest, so nice at first but not amazing. Was pretty quiet midday on a Saturday.

A “quick n dirty” hike if you have limited time. 35 mins to top if hiking quick. Amazing and rewarding views.

stunning hike, gorgeous view from the top, and a beautiful forest walk throughout. pretty steep for a moderate hike, but quite short, and the grade comes in bursts. all in all a fantastic hike, and well worth the effort!

Great Sunshine Coast hike, not too long, but a bit steep. Make sure to go a bit further down at the end for the bigger view.

Loved this hike. We went just before 9am on a Sunday and had it almost to ourselves. Lots more people as we came back down. Fairly steep but at a steady pace it was totally fine and took us 55mins to get to the top, 45mins back down. Views were awesome! Take your bathing suit and jump in garden bay lake for a post hike cool down.

It was steep in places but not relentlessly so, and there was no scrambling required, so overall it wasn’t as bad as some of the other reviewers have said, especially if you are a regular hiker, in which case it’s no biggie. We took our ten month up in a sling and it was fine. Some great views at the top with a few nice spots for lunch. Mosquitoes were hanging around lower down so take bug spray. Didn’t take long at all. Overall I would recommend it for the views from the top

Loved this hike! Amazing view at the top. First 1/3 of hike is extremely steep incline, but gets better!

Great trail! We do this one weekly. *** when you’re starting from the parking pull out and going to the last view point this is actually 6km round trip and 400m elev.

I don't think this is moderate level trail. It is very steep and in some segments it is no clear how to proceed. Was very hard and if you have baby in the backpack - think twice. Going down was a challenge due to rocky trail parts.

Lots of loose rocks and a steady upward incline. Not great for ankle injuries. But it’s worth it when you get to the top!

A good trail, definitely a mountain climb up 450meters. Need to have good hiking shoes or boots. Has few loose rocks on part of trail which can be a bit of a challenge coming down for some hikers. Poles can be a help on the climb up. Great views at the top of the harbour with a few Bald Eagles added.

Nice little trail with an amazing view on the top! The trail goes up little bit steeply, but it is not long and the view at the top worths it. The complete roud-trip trail (with a long break on top!) took us approximately 3 hours. We were camping at the Smuggler Cove which is at 25 minutes drive. Very nice weekend!
