Trail was great, a few slippery sections post rain to be expected.

Reduce time by about one hour and 10 minutes if starting at the parking lot at Roche Cove Park. Beautiful sandy swimming beach, with outhouse. Quite a bit of up and down. North side of the lake parallel to the Galloping Goose Trail is the most scenic.

HikingGreat!

Another nice trail, but the label of "Easy" is a matter of perspective. I'm working on getting back into shape, and there are two sections of the trail that are pretty intense ascents ... good for getting back *into* shape, but wasn't expecting them. If you like checking map, make sure you download, as there is no cell coverage for a large portion of the trail.

Not easy for a novice (like myself) but it was still good. Quite hilly in some areas, and muddy in a few other sections.

Great little trail. Considering the length and elevation this trail should be rated easy not moderate.

HikingMuddyRocky

Great little walk around the lake, jumping over puddles, and following a rocky creek. Take the entrance to the left to start the loop anti-clockwise and finish at the lake! Also accessible along Galloping Goose trail.

A good trail with son challenges along the way. Walking during winter months means some flooding and mud so dress appropriately.

Good hike around the lake with some great viewing areas. Some areas have many goat trails that take you away from the main trail. As noted, the west end has quite the elevation change.

Easy hike with a few hills ... some slippery spots on rocks if recently rained. Good shoes and you’re fine. Didn’t see a soul the entire trip around. My dog loved it
