Beautiful mossy trees with gorgeous mountains and river views. There are lots of hills. To start the hike you must walk across the bridge over the river at the end of Lynn Valley Road. After the wooden bridge, take your first right and then your first left 500 meters or so down.

Very little snow near the top of HeadWater Loop where it cuts across to CedarMill Loop, other than that just a little mud and was nice and quiet.

Pretty decent conditions this past Saturday; quite icy and slippery about halfway into the first half (if you do the hike clockwise), but other than that, everything was dry and easy. Not physically strenuous at all, with a very slow incline. We didn't continue all the way to Norvan Falls due to the ice on the path, but if we'd brought spikes we likely would have. Definitely one to do again!

The beginning of the trail is snow and ice free. As you get further along the trail there is snow on the ground that has become hard packed with icy patches where everyone else has hiked. It can be slippery and you need to watch your footing. If you want to walk at a quicker pace and not worry about slipping, then I suggest you bring micro-spikes for the slick areas.

We started from the parking area and started with the Lynn Loop followed by Headwater trail to Norvan Falls. This added some distance to our hike. Kids loved the suspension bridge and scrambling near the Falls. Full trip including breaks and lunch was just shy of 6 hours for us.

First 3/4 is pretty boring and flat - great for trail running though. Waterfall is a reasonable destination. I took a bit longer route and added some distance on the way back. Lots of side tracks to entertain. Intermediate rating

Fantastic dog walking route. Some people trail running it. Not the easiest. Lots of shade. An all round great summer walk

Very enjoyable hike! Really easy and quite flat but nice scenery. No signs of any bears, bugs were not bad, went relatively early in the morning, only saw a couple other people out. Nicely maintained trail!

Went last month when there was only a few patches of snow left. It was also pouring during my hike which made for many slippery sections and small creeks to cross. Overall a decent hike, took about 5 hours in total as I hike part way to the waterfall but decided to turn back because I started quite late in the day. Would definitely do again on a nice summer day!

Great hike. Scenic route along the Lynn river not difficult with kids. Lots of dogs on trail.

Great trail, not too steep anywhere. At the northern tip of this trail there's a suspension bridge. when we went in mid September, lots of bear warnings. This trail could easily be shortened. Water tap, washrooms and trail info near the car park.

I went for hiking with my wife and couple of friends on Sunday morning. It was beautiful and the weather was excellent. The only problem is parking there. You need to go early in the morning to find a parking spot. Other than that it is one of my favorite hiking spot.

It was a great for a trail run, a challenge mostly uphill. Not very well marked in some spots.

Still snowy this time of the year, but a gorgeous day. Couldn’t get to the last bit of the trail, but we enjoyed our 8.2 km trek. Pupper friendly!

One of the most popular spots / loop, quick easy, bench for lunch after on way back to your car or spots to stop in by the water, make sure you wear the right shoes. I've had enough lovely blisters from these trails.

We parked at the baseball fields at Inter River Park and did the trail from the opposite end of the suspension bridge. It was an excellent trail with a few ups and downs but mostly it follows Lynn Creek. The trail is a mix of long stretches of wooden 'bridges' and manicured trail. The views of the waterfalls are spectacular but the area around the suspension bridge was packed with tourist with selfie sticks. Overall a beautiful hike with some great scenery!

do the loop, nice walk along the river, take your time crossing the suspension bridge, this is a tourist destination but is still quiet most of the year except when it is twenty degrees, everyone in vancouver feels the urge to get outside whenever the weather is nice. consider walking over to rice lake for a nice side trail if you are wanting more

It's a good trail with many little antiquities on the way, they used to be a logging camp hair halfway up you'll see remnants of it the hike is moderate near the end of the branch left and go to the stripper version

One of my favs! A great mix of hills and flats in a lovely part of the World. The river is the backdrop of this mossy, green World.
