Trailhead is 3 km up a active logging road. Then you start the in a steep forest before moving out to a rockfall. From the rockfall on, it is basically an overgrown trail that sees glimpses of Lizzie creek before getting to the lake. Pretty sure you can continue to a narrow gorge called The Gates of Shangri-la if you still have enough in your tank. The views are worth it, however it may take an upwards of a weed whacking 3 hrs to even get to the lake.
