HikingIcyMuddySnow

Love this easy trail (done many times). Except there was compact snow on the ground making the last 2/3 super slipper. First 1/3 was icy. Saw many people in nikes and non-hiking wear. Thus they were slipping and barely making it up or down. I wore hikers but still found it hard to find traction in certain places. A couple that past me had micro spikes on (smart), and they went down so fast! The wind made it pretty chilly! Just make sure to check the weather before you hike up there. Was surprised to see how minimal snow affected the hike down

Beautiful hike as always. A small patch of hard snow near the end but it doesn’t last long and is passable. I did the hike in normal hiking boots and had no issue.

Great hike - not too long, though has some steep sections. Small portion with hard packed ice/snow.

The trail was good. Not too difficult. Lots of people coming and going but everyone is polite and considerate.

Great hike, bridge is repaired, trail is icy and has snow but I wouldn’t say spikes are necessary.

HikingBridge out

The Lindeman Lake trail is CLOSED! The aluminum bridge that crossed the creek has been destroyed by a falling tree and cannot be repaired. Plans for the replacement are in the works but there is no confirmed timetable for the trail to be re-opened.

HikingGreat!

It's not super hard to do, but not that easy either. I saw lots of parents carrying children in the back. I really don't think this is the trail for babies and kids. lots os rocks and slippery at some points. I went just to the first lake.. beautiful there.. It is worth the trail

Hiking

Heavily trafficked, but very well marked. snowy past the first lake, and the trail to greendrop is different from what is in Alltrails. Just follow the markers through the narrow paths in the snow. Beautiful views but slightly slippery in a lot of places. You don't need snowshoes, but be prepared for the ice. Pack your garbage out!!!

Completed on November 30th, 2020. Super well marked and gorgeous turquoise lake! Short and sweet. Lots of rocks, don't slip! Little bit of snow at the top. Was going to push to Greendrop but there was a rapid change of weather and it started to get very windy and snowy. Be prepared for storms.

lots of traffic on the trail meant the snow was packed nicely but it was slippery in some spots. Most people on the trail were just wearing boots but noticed a couple of micro spikes as well.

Nice hike with good trail conditions. There was a bit of snow from just past the second boulder field but it was manageable without spikes.

HikingGreat!

The trail is short and easy, the lake is amazing and the view of mountains is beautiful. When we arrived snowed a little. But no snow accumulated, we wanna go in the summer for swimming. The water is so clean. One of the most beautiful lakes near Vancouver for sure.

Great trail, easy enough for beginners but still presents somewhat of a challenge. Pace yourself if you’re a beginner, it’s a pretty steep incline in a short distance. Beautiful lake, and a great place to camp in the summer :)

HikingGreat!Rocky

This hike was about an hour n a half total. Great hike if you’re looking for something short. Moderate/easyhike although it’s pretty rocky and technical and you will be climbing over big rocks. The lake at the end was beautiful. Would go back in the summer to be able to swim.
