Beautiful views from the tower. Dry and great for hiking right now. Bit of construction at the trailhead

I did one of the trails on Friday, I started on the naked pistol trail that connected to the big horn loop and it ended up being a little over 10km. At the end I definitely heard some rattle snakes so just be careful doing the trails, some are single lane and not well maintained.

Pretty simple and easy trail, wouldn't rate it as moderate (the park rates it as easy). Still a decent time. No mosquitos this time of year (early may).

First to Review

The mosquitoes were relentless despite it being midday and hot with a breeze. Make sure you have great bug repellant, and light-coloured, loose-fitting clothing. The hike was pretty, though not particularly challenging - May 18/ 2018
