Good easy hike for the family. Today we went snowshoeing on the trail. The first 1.5 km had a trail set by someone else, but we pushed on after that and set a trail in the deep snow. Going down the hill was fun (in a good way) and breaking trail with snowshoes gave it a little more challenge.

What a fabulous hike! Headed to the start of the Nicola Hope Trail, and unbeknownst to us, it led to the Othello Tunnels where we were originally headed, but couldn't find parking. It was a 10.6 km hike to and from our car along the river and in the forest. The tunnels were an amazing highlight for our 40th wedding anniversary day of adventure.

Short but great hike, great when you do not have much time, but still need to get your hiking in. Love Othello Tunnels, a must see!
