This is a beautiful time of year to be hiking on the KVR. The view are spectacular and the trail is very easy. You will experience mild to moderate hiking and biking traffic with multiple areas to read about the history of the KVR. Dog friendly too! My kids loved the tunnels. You can make a great day hike of it as most do. We hiked 7.5 Km in from the Myra Canyon point and then returned.

This trail is perfect for a leisurely walk or bike ride. We only walked over a few trusses and through a few tunnels before turning around. The view is great and there are some benches along the trail to stop and enjoy the view, or just take a break.
