I Iike the interpretive signs telling you the different facts about the place, and forest of giant bonsai trees.

We went a little off the beaten track, and hike along the water and the rocks on the shore. It’s a really nice morning or afternoon walk, The trailer is wide and easy although the elevation may be a lot for the elders and wee ones.

Very easy nice walk to breathtaking views of Botany Bay and Botanical Beach. Too short for a real hike but nice.

Nice walk, well maintained trail. Signs displaying flora, fauna, and safety information are throughout. The views are amazing.

Nice paths that are easy to follow. Some inclines that are moderately steep, easy for children, harder for couch potatoes who don't do a lot of hiking, but entirely doable. Beautiful beach, plan to hang out a bit. While there were other people around, it wasn't crowded in the middle of a Wednesday afternoon in August.

This was a pretty easy trail with really nice ocean views on private beaches. There wasn’t much traffic when we went at around 5 pm. It takes well under an hour to do the whole loop with more or less time to spend at the lookouts depending on how fast you do the trail.

A very picturesque stroll, we got a chance to see a bear, on the Botanical Beach, it was lunch time

We hiked this trail but went further north across a suspension bridge then down to the ocean and back. Amazing hike, great for kids, it was an easy day less than 2 hours there and back with lunch. This hike does not disappoint, the ocean views are incredible.

This is a great hike with cool trees and the beach does not disappoint! Great tide pools and a rock skipper's paradise! The beach is shale or some other amazingly flat rock. We skipped huge rocks that could make three or four jumps... until our arms wore out! Even the sand was flat. I can't wait to go back!

Great hike that goes down to the ocean and tidal pools when the tide is low. Interesting tree formations.

Gorgeous natural bonzai along a lime stone coast with huge, huge surf. The trail is well estabilished and not too many folk in the winter, but I'm assuming it would be very popular in the summer. This is the entrance to the Juan de Fuca Trail which runs down the coast of Vancouver Island from Port Renfrew to Sooke. I would love to do that hike. Camping is allowed but what you pack in... you pack out. At low tide there are wonderful tide pools.
