Fabulous views down Finlayson Arm, beautiful arbutus groves and challenging hills!
Beautiful trail with wonderful views down Finlayson Arm,gorgeous Arbutus trees and challenging hills. 10.6 k of beauty and physical exertion.
A pleasant, easy hike. Majority of the trail is in reasonable condition. Signage could be improved in a few key locations.
Mostly good, snow, mud, a couple of trees down across trail.
A tougher hike than I remember but lovely nonetheless. Mostly slightly uphill on the way there and downhill on the way back; except for the steeper part around Holmes Peak. Lots of views along the way.
Gorgeous! The tip of the trail, where Saanich Inlet meets Finlayson Arm, was spectacular!
Great trail, easy to follow the route, stopped to enjoy views at a few look out points including the swing, and admired some beautiful vistas! We hiked on a gorgeous February day. There was only a few real muddy spots and nothing technical but a good climb overall.
