one of my favorite hikes for spring and early summer! you go through forest, meadow, swamp areas. great camping. the lake itself is FULL of leeches though, not much for fishing.

Beautiful walk, and easy for kids. We went at the end of April and it was quite snowy getting in, however, the trail was in excellent condition! Only a couple snowy patches that were easy to walk through.
