Fantastic trail with glacial caves, alpine meadows, incredible vistas. Fairly difficult ascent. Plan on 4 hours up and 1.5 down. Bring lunch! You will need the fuel.

Bring Lunch! Beautiful trail, captivating the whole way. The lake and glacier were such an amazing prize to reach.

I would call this a more intermediate hike, especially compared to Wedge. It’s a nice hike with a few steep parts. The meadows up top near the lake are full of wildflowers, it’s stunning. Went swimming out to an iceberg.. had to be done!

Awesome trail! Well marked and super fun. We went up from the top of alpine way instead. Took us two and a half hours to get up (9km). Pretty easy sailing until the end which was really hard to get over the rocks. About an hour and a half to get to our car.

Great trail! The lake view is worth the hike. The trail is well marked, just follow the orange markers.

You climb the first two kilometers then it is mainly flat for about three kilometers. After that the climbing start, except for the short distance through the meadow, all the way to the lake. The climb through the boulder field to the lake is not bad.

Bring bug and bear repellent. There are a lot of bugs and, although we did not see a bear, another group did.

Beautiful hike and views! The lake is amazing, not an easy hike but very worth it!

Steep trails most of the way up but worth the views at the top! Used the AllTrails app as a couple of the trail intersections were a little confusing. Also came across a grizzly at the top in the meadow just below the lake. Lots of waterfalls and beautiful views!

Trailhead well marked. 10 mi creek trail to skywalk north to reach Iceberg Lake. Mosquitoes in July. Lots of standing water in woods. Uphill climb almost the whole way and rocky terrain the last half mile or so. Lake makes it worth it. Good for dogs and bridges make traversing soft spots easy.

5 miles from village. Easy access and parking. Bathrooms at bottom and top. Total time is 5 hours, including pictures. Straight up and straight down; not much undulating. Bugs!!! Great views at top.

Beautiful, well maintained hike! Follow along on AllTrails as it’s confusing at times. Took us 4 hours to complete (2.5 hours up and 1.5 down) so we added Rainbow Lake to extend our day. It’s mostly through the forest which is a bit boring but once it opens up it’s really pretty and the lake is gorgeous. Returning end of August for a quick dip, hopefully some of the snow on the lake will have melted by then.

A hidden gem with everything you want in a hike. Lush forest, creeks and waterfalls, scenic mountain views, and a glacier lake (the prize at the top). It's a challenge but the reward is worth it.

The first 4 Kms took us up a logging road which was on the boring side but once in the trail it was a great hike beautiful waterfalls all the way up the side of the trail once into the mountains. I believe this is called skywalk to iceberg Lake. Be sure footed as lots of snow packed and icy. Eyes open for wolves if overnight.

May 26th and 27th. Beautiful hike but there is still a lot of snow left, closer to the lake. It took us 6 hours to get to the lake because of the snow. Stayed over night on the snow, didn’t see any wild animals but it got quite windy at night. Not an easy hike.
