A few things to note: The access to the trail head has changed. You can no longer drive to Traverse Creek camping area. There is a new road put in and the direction to the park are signed but the trail head is 200m off the road. It is has a string of flags leading to it. The trail is in good condition for the first few km, but after that it goes through a burn for around 5km. There are a lot of downed trees and trail is difficult to follow. We went as far as the canyon and the burned continued. The trail has a lot of potential but is in need of a lot of work to recover from the burn.
