Ferry island is a dog park when the camp ground is closed. When the camp ground is open it’s a dog park outside of the camping areas.

Easy hike through some old growth. Cool little faces carved into the bark. Informative signs along the way. 1/10 on difficulty.

One of my favorite places to walk, with gorgeous views in every season. Tucked away benches and/or fallen logs here and there offer perfect places to sit and daydream, and whimsical faces and animals carved into various trees are great conversation fodder:) Easy enough for any fitness level and age group. Bring your dogs, but keep them leashed and please scoop your poop. And theirs. LOL.

Easy walk with views of the Skeena river surrounding the island. There are other side trails so you don't have do the whole trail if you don't want to. The trail can get muddy in the fall and winter months in some parts.

This is an easy trail walk with views of the river channels around it and views of the surrounding mountain valleys. Caution is needed when the river is flooding, usually May, as trails will flood too. And in August-September there are usually bear in area warnings.
