The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from June until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

Would definitely recommend a 4x4 to get to the trailhead off Coal Creek Road. Great views of all the surrounding mountains from the ridge line A solid hike up to a ridge above Fernie. Beautiful trail.
