was a great hike overall, the only difficulties were the loose rocks for half the trail as well as the streams you have to cross over. make sure you wear your waterproof hiking boots! i liked that there was not tons of mosquitoes.and the scenery was amazing. it was exciting crossing the log ramp by the waterfall and its cool that it branches off into other trails so you can really customize your experience.

Great straight forward hike, a bit muddy with no good way around in spots, some good inclines but nothing too crazy. Don’t bring shoes you want to keep pristine!

Easy trail along the river. Could get muddy after the rain. We arrived there at 10am but the parking was already full so we had to park at the side of the road. We saw a cute chipmunk on the hike. https://youtu.be/0pkYmkVz38U

Wednesday July 1st, 2020 at 8am - A few bugs, if you keep moving they don't bother you much. Had to take a different route then on the map as some people coming the other way said it wasn't safe. More technical then I thought it would be in some parts, but we made it with my 8 and 5 year old. Probably would just do the Gold Creek Trail next time as it is much easier and you get the same views really. Very wet and muddy, but still a good hike.

I've done this about 4 times now and it never fails to disappoint. Although today there were a few (okay like 6) muddy patches that made it difficult getting stroller through, I still loved it. Always nice to take a stop on the way back for a picnic!

Just did this with my 9-1/2 year old. We loved the adventure. Nice walk/hike to the falls then fun scramble through the connector to east canyon trail for an easy walk back. Some muddy spots but not bad at all.

This trail is actually very easy at the Lower Falls and East Canyon. The connecter between the Upper Falls and East Canyon is extremely steep not for hikers that are Inexperienced. It was very muddy and slippery.

The connector at the top of the map between East Canyon Trail and Upper Falls Trail towards Gold Creek Upper Falls is very overgrown and slippery with moss and algae. We missed the sign and had to backtrack. Watch your footing up and down. But the scramble is worth it for the view. I’m glad we had waterproof gear today. There were a lot of puddles and pools after a rainy few days. This was a good one. I’d do it again!

Good little trail, perfect for dogs. Nice little private area near the river for a picnic. It’s definitely not moderate. Very easy and lots of kids. Go early as it gets busy around 10 am and parking is a pain! 4 stars because parking is a bit inconvenient, all the campers use the parking spots and not long enough

Fun little hike. Much easier than I initially thought. Falls are beautiful if you go a little up at the end of this hike where you can see above them.

Hike is pretty straightforward aside from the lower falls to East Canyon Trail connector. That bit is very steep and difficult. If you’re with little kids it might be best to just go straight to the falls and back.

Lower falls trails is very nice and well maintained. East Canyon trail is a little rougher and the end of the trail to the falls (from the East Canyon trail) can be slippery and steep, but it’s a short distance.
