Nice walk. More of a stroll than a hike. But quiet and peaceful, really pretty with the leaves turning color. Good way to spend about an hour or so if you do a loop of the perimeter of the park.
This was a nice multi use trail system. Encountered one person on horseback and 3 others on mountain mountain bikes and all were very courteous. Spent 2 hours creating our own path using this app. Went there on a Sunday morning and parked by 9:00a. By the time we were finished there was no where to park so go early. I would walk here again.
This is an easy well maintained trail in the woods so very shady. Some historical features. Many crisscrossing trails so you can wander a bit. Intersecting trails not that well marked but cell service is fine so you can always figure out where you are. I enjoyed it but never felt “in the wild” mostly because you can always hear the traffic on the freeway and on the 91
Easy loop. Light traffic. Dog friendly. Although we did encounter a hidden trail that had a huge pile of raw cut up meat. What was that about? Keep your dogs close to you as it might be a poisonous trap.
