Great hike. Trail was washed out and had to use grip on cleats to get up steep hills. Was unable to summit as there was no path and snow was 4 feet deep. Was able to trek through snow to about 200 meters from summit. Amazing views.

The start of this trail is very well marked so it is easy to find your way. Some parts are very steep and challenging though. To reach the summit of Coyote Peak you have to go just past the sign at the second fork for the lookout and then head south up the slab surface covered in moss. There is no discernable or marked trail so you'll just have to find your own way up. I recorded my way up so I could find a similar way down. Definitely worth it, amazing views from the top!

Once across the bridge part of the trail going up was washed out. It still is pretty rough and doesn’t look stable.
