An easy walk along a logging road and then a very short climb up to the falls. Lots of waterfalls to be explored beyond the two!

This is a great trail if your looking for something casual. The waterfalls are beautiful at the end, make sure you step to the right of the first waterfall to check out the second waterfall. It’s easy to miss if you don’t know about it.

The beginning can be boring as it’s a logging road but once you turn off the cabin is not far and then two waterfalls after that, once you continue on the loop you come to the fish hatchery. Family friendly hike.

Easy trail with a wonderful reward at the top. Highly recommend venturing to the left of the second falls and up above them! Be cautious of slippery rocks but worth the climb up!

Great little hike. Fairly narrow path in places and very wide in others. Big waterfall wasn’t well marked but found it no problem. Not a lot of room to sit and eat lunch. A couple little muddy puddles but avoidable and a little climb but not difficult.

I liked this hike! A little monotonous in the beginning as it’s a long stretch of gravel that’s kind of boring, but it’s fun for kids to run on.. the little hill going up to see the falls is pretty rocky, so it could be difficult for others!

Great hike, from this location got a little lost once we were at the fish hatchery.. once you get there go up the trail and it will say trail & falls, we went across the bridge which was another way to get there.

beauuutiful falls.. lovely 2h walk. however we had to go off trail when doing the 2nd half of the loop, and the road was flooded. we walked about 10mins off-trail which was a little scary and tricky. exciting though!

Great hike. Took about 1:30 hrs casually, with a couple stops. We did it on a nice sunny dry day. The falls were running nicely. We did the loop counter clockwise and would recommend it as you are able to see the falls as you walk up the incline. Easy to follow.

Once you are off the logging road this trail is poorly marked so we were very grateful for the gps. There was no water coming over the first falls and Christie Falls itself was just a trickle. However we did see a gorgeous owl.

You walk on gravel road for most of the walk, minimal water fall right now. The house in neat. Maybe winter will be more exciting to see Falls.

We had never been to these falls before, there was still some water coming down despite the lack of rainfall. There is a nice pool just down from the falls that would be great for swimming on a hot day, saw some fish in there too. Not too difficult and should be doable for most people.

there is an access point for the falls listed on Google maps - it is not the trailhead for this hike. this hike starts at the end of Arroyo road, just park and walk down the logging trail, take the first right. the road is nice for a logging road - seriously. I've walked down some really awful ones. you reach the hatchery and then venture to your left (not over the bridge) to a much more overgrown trail. there are things to climb, bridges to maneuver and then you make it to the falls. I recommend going down to the creek, its gorgeous. take the other trail, if you can find it, on the way out and check out the emergency cabin. its pretty cool!

Love this trail! Went with our Golden Retriever and parked behind the new Microtel Hotel in Oyster Bay. We crossed the Bush River on a rickety old platform and walked a little bit on what appeared to be a not well used trail, but it is on All Trails. This trail matches up with Arroyo Road and we took that street to the end and we began the hike up to the waterfalls. We stayed to the right and went up near the hatchery and then looped around. So we went counterclockwise. When you think you are at the top, just look around a little and do some exploring as there is a cool viewpoint that you will find by just doing a little exploring. We were at 6miles round trip (as we combined 2 trails). Lots of fun!
