Cheam Lake is a 2.8 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Cheam 1, British Columbia, Canada that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, nature trips, and bird watching and is accessible year-round.
The trail consists of three segments: Loop Trail (1.3km), Floating Walkway (300m), and Creek Trail (1km).
Love this spot! Great view of the mountains and the lake from some spots, as well as a great little river walk.
Beautiful there today! Definitely a must see in the snow, we were the only ones there all morning! Lots of parking, easy to ready maps, clean, very kid friendly trails. Wish they would allow leashed dogs but I do understand why they absolutely no dogs allowed.
Beautiful views and well-maintained trails suitable for all skill levels. However, COVID measures were not really practiced or respected by all people (especially on the floating walkway and lookout). Definitely come check it out (swans and view of Bridal Falls and Cheam are amazing!), but please respect others by wearing a mask and keeping your distance.
One of my favourite walking trails. Great for any age/fitness level. There’s 2 separate walking trail loops + 2 lookout docks. Great for bird watching, self reflection or family time. Trails are a bit frosty today, but dry/barely wet grounds + very quiet this morning (have the park to myself). Definitely recommend.
A nice casual kid friendly hike. No bugs and a nice breeze. Real nice area for a picnic in the afternoon shade. Booyah!
Wednesday August 19th, 2020 at 7:30am - Nice easy walk through the wetlands area. The views are all at the beginning, so the hike/walk really is just to enjoy the forest setting. Only one on the trail at this time. Good for the kids and four legged creatures. Would do a again on a clearer day!
Good trail with lots of shade when you get in it. We only did the creek trail and the board walk. Great way to avoid large groups!
