Great family camping spot. Clean, quiet, scenic. Not worth bringing your bikes to as there is only biking around the camp loops. Instead, plan for water fun such as a canoe, kayak, or dingy to enjoy on the lakes. Clean, clear water for swimming at two beaches on the 3rd lake.

This is a delightful, mostly flat, multiple loop trail that circles the three Champion Lakes. There is also a great swim beach. The best map of the trail is on a board at the swim beach, go there first to get your directions. Lots of mosquitoes in June, July, bring repellent. This is a whole family, well maintained trail. There is also a short, steep trail up to a lookout spot, probably not really worthwhile except to get aerobic. Bring your swimsuit for a nice swim after hiking around. The road is paved all the way to the lakes.
