Hiking

Too early, wet icy slippery, come back with snow shoes or wait till spring

This trail was a beautiful winter hike. Mostly flat on the front with a bit more hilly areas on the back of the mountain. Hiking boots with cleats was all that was required although I did notice some snowshoe tracks.

Kinda confusing with all the trails looping back and thru each other bit wonderful views!! Some loose rocks make for tough footing careful.

Nice and easy. Follow the map as there are many different trails, or go off on one of the other trails to extend your hike. Watch for mountain bikes.

Beautiful trail. I did it with my parents; one of whom has had a hip replacement and she did just fine. There’s lots of different trails branching off due to bike and horse trails so it’s easy to get off track if you’re not paying attention to the trail markers. Beautiful hike though, lots of quail and wild flowers to look at.

A nice easy loop with good views (lake view, wineries, forest). Took us about 1.5 hours including a few short stops. Shared with bikes & horses in some parts so use caution. A lot of Saskatoon bushes. Lots of off-shoot trails but can definitely follow the trail markers easily as well. Nice for a family stroll!

I wouldn’t call the trail easy, however I really enjoyed it! My 60yr mother and 5yr old son managed it! :)

Super easy afternoon walk. The trail is surrounded by homes and properties throughout - with families out jogging, mountain biking, and walking dogs. Seems like a favourite spot with locals. Pretty, warm and saw a marmot! More of a walk than a hike but still worth it!

Snow covered but hard packed. Took my 10 and 7 year old. They enjoyed it! Lots of great places to rest and enjoy the view.
