One of my favourite trails in BC. Pretty varied in terms of terrain.

It was very busy with lots of hard breathing joggers. it was difficult to keep my 2 meters and felt the hot breath of a few runners on my face. I may be contaminated now. Other than that, it was really cool to see the dam and the views of the canyon. Many beautiful trees and views on the river. Easy hike but I would stop once you get to the capilano theme park. It was a very boring stretch past that. I would recommend in non-covid times or during the week, not during the weekend.

Completed this 9.8km beautiful loop trail within 2.5 hours. There are many points of sightseeing along this easy trail overlooking the Cleverland Dam, steep gorge, Capilano River, Capilano Lake. Various sort of exercises like hiking, running, fishing, walking dog are fit for all walks of life! Hope to back again!

The Coho Loops is a kid-friendly trail along the river. The Cable Pools offer a good viewpoint of the Capilano River. The hatchery is closed due to Covid.

A good place to go for trail running or if you are with people who don’t typically “hike,” but still want to enjoy the outdoors. Lots of different trails to choose from.

Just a heads up with the Covid restrictions...... Capilano River Regional Park and the Cleveland Dam are still fully open including the large parking lot at the Dam. Only change is the posting of signs noting 2 metre social distance.

The hike was great with tons of off trails that lead you to views of the river. Honestly up to you which route you take & times will vary but very easy with little elevation gain. If you like fishing it’s legal in the river in certain parts & you can literally see the salmon in the water throughout many viewpoints of the trail

Good clean track with a lot of alternate routes you can choose to take. I went all the way to the salmon growing centre and back to the dam. Plenty of places to stop and have a break.

This place is absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend. Be careful because some of the hills have steep drop offs. They also need to put more maps.

Trails are nice, but we strayed from the primary trail and ended up in a weird trek through residential areas and closed trails.

It is really beautiful. Make sure to go during the day time if you’re not a pro cause it’s easy to get lost and it is not marked very well

The tails are marked, but poorly orientation wise. Many trails leading in multiple directions so be prepared to get turned around once or twice. Pay attention to the maps. I essentially spent two hours just marking out my own route - so get creative!

terrible and poorly marked.... there are better trails in the area The best point is at the start... after that... there isn't anything worth seeing

Beautiful walk in the woods. Enjoyed the sound of rushing water and the birds singing and flying all over the place. The signage is not clear, pay attention to your map . Thumbs down just because of signage, otherwise it is a beautiful place with quite well maintained trails.

It’s a great trail but unlike the proposed route, it’s not actually possible to cross the suspension bridge from the west side. If you zoom into this proposed hike, you’d have to go off trail.
