Great area and trails are dog friendly. The ravine near the playground in the park does not connect to further trail. Visit the ravine spot then return to Hedley road and continue south down the hill and you can pick up the trail behind the tennis court. This is a hidden gem

A very nice, reasonably easy trail. Surprisingly beautiful w/ a cute little creek going through. Wasn’t busy at all on a Saturday afternoon and almost felt like a private stroll :) Easy/free parking. Dog friendly!

Nice easy trail to do but lacking in signs and difficult to follow the loop and end up on the road and walk back to the car park. Nice tall trees to keep the trail cool.

This is a really great loop trail, about half way there is a softball diamond with a fresh water tap beside the pool. Really great on a hot day my dogs loved it. Further along the trail, there is fresh water in the stream. We will definitely be back!

Took my dog for a little stroll, she loved it! We started by walking down the stairs instead of the other way and walking up this time, it was a nice refresher.

Quick hike with my boyfriend, always beautiful. Much hotter during mid-day so I prefer the mornings.

Really cute and nice short day hike. There were lots of off paths that led to little chill spots with the creek running below. The highlighted trail on the map follows a wider path so I chose to take the inside trail which was thinner and a lot more natural. Some spots were very quiet and serene, it was almost as if there was no city around me. If I didn’t have this app I don’t think I would have been able to do the whole loop as there are no signs and it’s quite easy to get turned around. I had to turn around near the beginning of the hike because the trail I was following suddenly ended, it was still a very beautiful detour. I will definitely be coming back to do this.

Map is now incorrect as it looks like a section of trail has been washed out and now closed off near the Headly St corner/playground ... just walk through the playground and pick up the trail on the other side instead of going down behind the tennis courts and trying to get into that bit.

It's great to see a hidden gem inside a city. Didn't see any signs leading into the trail from the parking lot.

The beginning of this trail off of southridge is really nice... Theres probably a good 100 stairs to climb up but its pretty up the ravine... However its very hard to figure out where the trail loops... There are no trail markings and its very easy to get lost
