Awesome workout! Definitely need hiking shoes for the trail within the forest. The pipeline trail part of the trail map posted is quite boring but I think you can avoid that part as there are several alternative trails within the forest. Will definitely do again for the workout alone. Good for a sunny day as it is heavily shaded with forest. Not busy at all on a weekday late afternoon.

A solid workout on the uphill. Not much for views but still feel like you are deep in the forest.

5.1 KM in 1 hour and 8 minutes; sitting here with sweat dripping down my face and back, awesome hike! It's very breezy in the forest and protects you from the sun nicely- would recommend bringing a jacket if you're planning to just enjoy the walk and not go too hard.

Tons of trails to choose from. We picked our own, zig-zagged from one to another. Some are steep with lots of rocks and logs, others are simply gravel road that go on for a kilometer or two.

I would definitely do this again. The forest is bright and clean smelling and full of birds. Great morning hike.
