dogs on leash
This is an easy trail. I mean, not extremely easy, but I've seen children doing much harder trails in the past.
It's a nice pace for a day with the family. The lake is beautiful.
The east side of the trail is a walk on the park.
The west side has some short "steep" sections, which shouldn't be a problem to most people.
I few this trail should be rated as easy instead of moderate. Most likely it's rated as moderate because of the west side, which is not even that bad imo.
As informed by Rio Loing, the east side of the trail is closed for maintenance. Utility road must be used.
Nice trail but the entire east side of the trail was closed for maintenance. Had to walk along the utility road the whole east side of the lake.
Very easy trail. Good spots to have picnics.
East side of trail is down due to crazy wind couple months back, they are working on fixing it so part of route is on the hydro road. Been on this hike hundreds of times and will always love it, safe comfortable place for me and kiddo to hike as I know the area. We will never let the rain stop us from exploring.
Need about 3 to 5 hours for this
Part of the trail was closed due to construction but definitely worth the scenery it boasts.
It's a slushy wet slog right now so dress to get wet. If it freezes again before the rain washes away the snow, you'll want spikes or yaktrax for some sections.
fantastic hiking and well marked trails
Great hike, great views
