Nice winding trail. Never made it to the falls but found some nice pools in the river. Thanks

Very sketchy going down the ravine with my kids. Boys 7 and 8 and was super worried for them. Sheer cliff. Minimal hand holds. Some ropes to help with the decent and accent but not what we expected for a kid/dog friendly hike. Weren’t able to make it all the way down. We were so close but 1 of the boys slipped and wouldn’t go further. I don’t think this is a kid friendly hike and it certainly wouldn’t have been for our pug either but was very beautiful

great trail very steep down The Gorge was muddy and required a rope. beautiful River, fallen tree was a bridge across The Gorge and straight up on the other side after that the trail is very poorly marked. I had my five-year-old with me and we were able to do it quite comfortably even in the mud some parts were definitely slick. follow the blue and yellow trail markers on the other side of the gorge and it took us to The Milner active mine, gravel pit. ended up following that out too andres road and alsop Rd. will definitely be going back and following the orange markers as stated in previous reviews.

steep going down to the creek, but theres some ropes to help balance you. there's a bit of a view of Ammonite Falls from this side, but the trail does bring you to another small waterfall which is beautiful. if you cross the creek at this waterfall and follow the trail, you can see Ammonite Falls from above, looking down on them.

Tried getting to the falls but lost the trail after the rope sections coming down side of hill just after switchback section. Still enjoyed the view of creek though.

Tons of trails in this area if you want to make the hike longer or shorter. Great for dog off leash. We hike in there are the time and its great for exercise but its nothing to exciting compared to other locations.

where the trail kind of does the second fish hook on the map is where it begins to be poorly marked. I had my 5yr old and my dog and challenge wise we were able to do each section we came across, but when it got really not marked, about 1/2 way after the hook to the falls, I turned around for safety. Would love to see the falls from this side one day for sure! beautiful trail otherwise, I love wandering around the many other trails here.

Beautiful trail and the falls are stunning. Though the trail down to the falls was nearly inaccessible. The recent storm brought down many trees blocking the entire path that zigzagged down the ravine. The only choice was to slide down the bank and try to grab onto tree roots until you got to where the trail had switched back. The trail down is short. Though there were four sections that had been blocked from falling trees. I suggest bringing ropes to assist you in climbing down. If you aren’t afraid to get a little dirty, it’s well worth the climb to see the falls!

A maze of trails, for hiking and biking, mostly flat, partially alongside the creek. Suitable for all hiking levels.

It was definitely a good moderate workout as there as some very steep parts. I had read other reviews indicating the muddy area near the falls so I made sure to bring spare gloves which made the experience much more enjoyable.

Trail down to the water is closed but many were still going. It is a Rough trail down to the waterfalls with many routes that you need to hold on with. Great trail took about 40 minutes to get down to the falls.

great trail. brought my 3 year old had to hold her hand for a few spots because there was steep edges and lots of roots.

I enjoyed this walk very much. It was very muddy on the roped area down to the falls, the rope was quite muddy too. I could rinse my hands in the water at the bottom but wish i had something to clean my hands after climbing back up, just a bit of water and a napkin or something. Consider sticking something in your pocket. but it's definitely worth the climb down. I think this walk, even before the roped area would not accomodate a stroller, there's just too many roots. Had a great day!

Nice trail but if you're going all the way down to the falls I would definitely not rate this as easy. Very steep and slippery. Some ropes to aid you, my mom could not make it all the way down.

It’s wet in the winter but not bad trail, wouldn’t recommend it if elderly or with small children, there are some steep areas and drop offs.
